Quick Shipping Time

We build our standard desks, tables and companion products to stock. That means most of our products can ship to you right away! If a product is not in stock, lead times typically range from just a few days to a couple of weeks. That’s not bad for a desk that everyone will assume you custom ordered! Most products ship to you direct via UPS.

Ease of Assembly

Caretta desks were designed to be easy to assemble. For shipping, we break down the desk into its major components: desktop assembly, leg assemblies, and cable tray. When a desk arrives, open the Desk Top box. It opens like a shirt box. Sit the legs and cable tray in place, then attach them together with a single standard size of machine screws (not wood screws), then turn the desk upright. Done! The whole process takes just a few minutes.

Product Personalization

Add custom laser engraved graphics to your desk or table for a personalized look.  You can add a corporate logo, special interest graphic, or virtually anything else to your desk. The graphic is deep laser engraved onto a solid cherry panel and inserted into a modesty panel on the front of the desk. We can also add special graphics in the desk drawers and other places.

About the Designer

In 1973, I founded Tracewell Enclosures (now Tracewell Systems) with an innovative series of injection molded electronic enclosures.  In the early 1970's, designing and packaging small electronic equipment was difficult since most enclosures were manufactured using bent up sheet metal. In addition to injecting molding, I used die cast aluminum and added many shapes and sizes with user-friendly features to our product family.  Tracewell Systems has changed over the last thirty years, yet still continues to offer fully integrated systems and solve many complex issues with new designs and manufacturing techniques.

In 2005, I founded Caretta Workspace.  Today, the story is the same, while the product is different.  When I look at computer hardware and the continuous evolution in computers, displays, printers, UPS systems, and accessories, a computer system on a desk presents a lot of opportunities for innovative solutions.  Many desk options are lacking in flexibility and design.  Drawing on the experience and evolution of past engineering and manufacturing projects, and many hours of dedicated design, I believe I've solved these problems. 

I'm pleased to introduce to the market the Caretta line of office products.  Never before have security, flexibility, innovation, and forward-thinking come together in such a beautiful line of furniture.
