Why have a beautiful desk, then ugly it up with wires and cables hanging all over it? Do you really want power strips laying at your feet? How about a DIY cable management system with a stuck on cable shelf that connects to nothing?
Caretta desks are famous for their built-in cable management system. There is a large cable tray built into the structure of the desk, with access points at all the right places. There is even a large surge-suppressing power strip right under the desktop.
At Caretta, we LOVE wood. That is why we have a source of the most beautiful cherry hardwood that you have ever seen! In the rolling hills of southern Ohio, grow some of the most excellent cherry trees in the world. They feature stunning, flowing wood grain patterns that give it a rich depth in character.
The solid wood used in our desks is hand-selected, then finished with a durable finish that accentuates the wood grain. Each piece goes through a detailed 10-step finish process, which is perfected with time and hand work.
Desks are available in lighter Natural Cherry stain, or darker Estate Cherry stain.
When you pick these up, you can feel the quality. These are NOT light, flimsy, meek steel desk legs. They are laser-cut from 12 gauge steel and skillfully welded together. They are both great looking and functional, with shelf mounting holes on both sides. The legs on the Modern Urban Series desks gave a modern, sharp look to them that is sure to make your office look fantastic!
A 12 outlet (62” wide desk) or 6 outlet (45” wide desk) surge suppressing power strip is attached directly to the cable tray under the desk top. Plugs are spaced far enough apart so you can plug transformers side by side. There are LED indicators to show that surge suppression is active and the strip is plugged into a grounded circuit.

There are several technology options that can be added to the desktop, such as a Qi wireless phone charger, USB 3.0 ports with media card readers, and the Caretta Power Block, which makes two power plugs available at your fingertips.

Caretta Desks feature a soft, bull-nose desk edge that is cut out of the solid cherry desktop. The smart looking angle that it creates not only gives the desk a great finished look, but it makes a comfortable position to rest your wrists or forearms when you are working a the desk.
When someone sees the desk for the first time, they just have to touch it and run their hand around the soft edges. That's when they really start to appreciate the fine wood and craftsmanship that goes into each piece.
Caretta desks come with built-in desktop inlays that make for a luxury work and writing surface.
The inlay material that we have chosen has a high-end touch that eliminates the need for a desk pad. The material makes a nice writing surface and is extremely abrasion resistant.
If you want to notice what sets luxury furniture apart, look at the drawers. Caretta drawers have a sturdy dovetail joined hardwood frame and metal base to maximize drawer depth. High quality smooth glides and Micro-suede lining provides an elegant touch. The locking drawers are large enough to store a laptop computer.

If you need single or multiple monitors, if you need to move each monitor individually, or move them as a pair, there are several monitor arms available. There is a thru-hole monitor arm mounting location on the desktop so arms are sturdy and secure.
If you like to set up your monitors on a riser shelf, there is one that can securely attach to the desktop. The Desktop Riser Shelf has an optional LED light bar.
There are many matching companion products for completing your Caretta office. The Side Table, Meeting Table and Conference Table can add to your work surface area. File cabinets, hutches, and bookshelves create more storage options.

The desk arrives to you with its major assemblies already put together. This makes assembly a snap!
It arrives in 3 boxes by standard UPS ground, or similar. For orders with multiple desks, it can arrive by freight and be delivered inside your location.
We ship direct from our factory in Ohio to locations across the USA and Canada.
